How to Prepare Rooibos Tea
Rooibos tea is also called bush tea, redbush tea, South African red tea, and red tea.  It is prepared similarly to the way black tea is prepared.  Sugar, milk, honey, and lemon are commonly added to rooibos tea, although these additional ingredients are always a matter of taste for the drinker.

The Health Benefits
Rooibos tea contains the antioxidants aspalathin and nothofagin. Antioxidants are said to prevent a number of illnesses including Alzheimer's disease, heart disease, and some cancers.  It is often used to aid in weight loss. African natives have traditionally used it to relieve stomach cramps and lessen colic in babies.  Rooibos tea contains less tannin than other teas, and it is always naturally caffeine free.
